The Expert Bootmakers and Repairers offer free shipping within Australia on all orders over $99.00 via standard mail delivery. If you require express delivery please select this option at the check-out stage.
ORDERS INSIDE AUSTRALIA:
Yes, we do deliver anywhere in Australia including Post office boxes. We use Australia Post for all of our shipping requirements.
The Expert Bootmakers and Repairers will not be held liable for the loss or damage of items delivered by Australia Post.
When you select Express Post Service we use Australia Post boxes and satchels and so each order will have a unique tracking number used to track the item should Australia Post fail to deliver the item. Australia post estimate delivery times between 4 - 6 days in the Metro area on standard delivery and 1-3 days on Express Post Service.
Unforeseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable. Should there be a delay in dispatching your order we will contact you immediately to advise you of the reason for the delay. You may cancel such an order at any time prior to dispatch.
Yes we do deliver internationally. International shipping fees vary and are payable by the customer.
International orders may incur an import duty. For information, please contact your local customs office. Duty is not paid by us and is the responsibility of each individual customer.
International airmail orders are traceable to the point where they have left Australia. The delivery of these orders is subsequently reliant on overseas postal services.
Some international orders may require additional identification before being processed. The transmission of this information to The Expert Bootmakers and Repairers may affect estimated delivery times. The Expert Bootmakers and Repairers reserves the right to request additional identification prior to processing orders originating outside Australia.
CUSTOMS AND INTERNATIONAL DUTY:
While Australian tax (G.S.T.) is removed from all international orders please be aware that your order may be subject to local Customs duties and/or local taxes in the country of destination. Please check with your local authority to ascertain applicable rates. Any additional charge must be borne by the recipient.
No returns or refunds are accepted on international orders.
We would like you to be 100% happy with your purchase so please choose your product carefully. If you aren’t 100% happy, all products can be returned for an exchange or refund (minus original shipping) if the product is faulty, but not simply if you change your mind. If the product does not fit correctly or you have ordered the wrong size or colour, we are happy to exchange only. You, the customer will be responsible to pay back and forth the postage costs on the replacement items.
To return items they MUST be Unworn (we allow for trying on for size on carpet), Unmarked, in Original Condition and Box, with Receipt of Purchase.
To return or exchange simply contact email@example.com or 0432 915 301 as soon as possible and advise customer service that you would like to arrange an exchange or return.
We do not offer exchange or refund on shoe care items or accessories.
Please note: Although we're an online store and we are open 24 hours per day, We are also a brick and mortar store and emails will be responded to Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm WST. We observe Western Australian public holidays. Returned shoes must be in undamaged original packaging, with original receipt, not worn or marked and within 30 days of initial purchase.

When returning goods please use a reliable method of postage, as The Expert Bootmakers and Repairers are not responsible for any items you return that go missing or become damaged in transit. The customer is responsible for postage costs back to our premises when returning an item for a refund or exchange. The Expert Bootmakers and Repairers reserve the right to charge a repackaging fee if the original box is damaged.
Refunds (minus original shipping cost) will be credited to the credit card you used to purchase the goods within 1-5 working days of receiving them at our premises. A refund will not be processed if the goods returned do not conform to our returns policy. To return items they MUST be Unworn (we allow for trying on for size on carpet), Unmarked, in Original Condition and Box, with Receipt of Purchase.
If you intend to exchange an item for a different size, simply
e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible with the size you require so we can reserve it for you.
Exchanged items will only be dispatched when the returned unworn item is received by us, in its original condition and box, with the original receipt and within 30 days of purchase. Please note you will need to pay the return postage.
Please note we do not offer any return or exchange without a receipt or proof of purchase
The Expert Bootmakers and Repairers is not required to provide you with a copy of your original receipt to facilitate an exchange or refund.

No refunds will be given in store; however, we will allow exchanges to occur.
Returned shoes must be in undamaged original packaging, not worn or marked and within 30 days of initial purchase.
Online receipt must also be presented.
Out of Stock Item
As The Expert Bootmakers and Repairers is a retail brick and mortar shop as well as an online shop we endeavour to keep our website up-to-date with stock availability. However if you order an item and it has been brought in-store at the same time, a member of our staff will contact you within 48 hours of your order.
RETURNS / EXCHANGES:
Customers are responsible for all back and forth shipping and brokerage charges for returns or exchanges.
Please choose carefully as we don’t exchange or accept returns on sale or discounted items if you change your mind or make an incorrect decision.
